Bring it on! I always say you can’t complain about the winter and summer extremes. I use all of my complaining for cold and snow.
Also western PA has experienced 3 very rainy years in a row 2017-2019. While this hot weather will make the lawns look brown and do a number on gardens, it isn’t a bad thing to balance out what has been the wettest three year period since records were kept.

Actually, I'm hoping my lawn browns. I've been mowing every 5 days.

Not hot in my room where I spend 98% of the time. When I'm in bed the air is set at 60 because it wont go any lower and it was on all winter also

I manage a tractor-trailer yard and it was pretty brutal Tuesday-Thursday. No shade in the yard. I was so tired when I got home those 3 days

It's going to be brutal for thee next week or so. Stay cool, stay hydrated if you can. This was posted today (7/3/20). tiger4lyfe, hide under one of those parked trailers if you can, at least it's a little shade.

I figured out why they call it "high noon" yesterday. The only place there was shade at 11am to 1pm the last couple days was directly under the trailers. Thought about jumping in the one refrigerated trailer(we store unopened hand sanitizer in it) we have too, but it was sealed with a numbered bolt seal and didn't want to get accused of stealing hand sanitizer ! I definitely been drinking tons of ice water though, one small luxury is we have an ice machine and all the bottles of room temp water we can drink. I bring one of my old gatorade bottles and fill it with ice and water

Get one of those big, floppy-brimmed hats if you don't already have one. It's surprising how much wide-brim hats help with the sun. I've seen people fill a bottle with water, freeze it overnight and use that for cooling, too.

Just finished a five mile run. Normally when I get out and back before 8am there isn’t much sweat. Today was a different story!

I personally hate the heat. I've never done well with it either, even when I was in football shape. That's why I always cringe when I see someone post on here that "football camp is my favorite time of the year." For me it was the absolute worst lol.
Regarding rain I guess that we've been getting less than you guys. As wet as April and May was (I was also cutting the grass every 5 days) June has been mostly dry. My front lawn is browning (the back yard has trees for shade and my kids play in the sprinkler back there so it is still green).

Yeah I got lucky because last week GA started their AAU travel season, in one day last week there were 29 games in one day on suvtv. Last night i watched 3 games, they were in Atlanta, today there are 8 and tomorrow 8 too. Then they go to Augusta for the Peach Jam, that runs for 3 days. Then they gone on from there so i'll have plenty to do. haha i am sitting in my room with my hoodie on.
